Breaking News: Jesus And Mary Chain band line-up announced
The Jesus And Mary Chain have announced their band line-up for the
April 27, 2007 Coachella show in Indio, CA: Joining Jim & William Reid
will be Phil King (ex Lush etc), Loz Colbert (ex Ride), and Mark Crozer.
On Crozer's myspace blog he writes "Well... I'm still in a state of utter
shock even 12 hours after receiving the call but...I've been asked to play
guitar with the Jesus and Mary Chain when they reform for Coachella Festival
on April 27th!!! Holy fuck! It was a very surreal moment when I got the
call... When the phone rang and I heard Jim Reid's voice on the other end
I assumed he'd called me by mistake. Then he said "I'll get straight to
the point...how would you feel about joining the Mary Chain at Coachella?"
I think my exact words were "you're fucking joking!" followed by "I'd be
delighted." Longtime guitarist/bassist Ben Lurie is in Australia and will not be joining the band. As usual, more news as we get it.
In more Jesus And Mary Chain news - they have launched their official myspace
