Ben Lurie/Freeheat Rocksellout.com Interview
Longtime Jesus And Mary Chain guitarist/bassist Ben Lurie
continues to promote the latest release from Freeheat "Back On The
Water" - he is featured in an interview from music site Rocksellout.com(with
previous PSR coverage of Linda Draper and The Voyces). Ben talks about the
past, The Jesus And Mary Chain, Sister Vanilla, and the future. Meanwhile,
Ben also appears on the soon to be released Sister Vanilla "Little

The Voyces Best Seller On Barnes & Noble
The Voyces latest LP "Kissing Like It's Love" isn't due out until
May 8th, but it's already topping the charts over at
Barnes And Noble, positioning itself in the top 10 on this week's best
sellers list, outselling the latest LP from The Arcade Fire. Meanwhile,
the band has had some cool write ups at:
Obscure Sound and Dagger.

Linda Draper appears over at Shake
Your Fist blog - breaking down some of the tracks on her latest "Keepsake"
LP. In Other Linda Draper news, her track "How Long" from the recent tribute
release "Easy To Be Free: The Songs Of Rick Nelson" (the track is also the
closing song on "Keepsake", in a new version)continues to get airplay via
California's KFJC 89.7 FM.
The Jesus And Mary Chain/Freeheat/Sister Vanilla are in the news
via Obscure Sound, with good
pieces on Freeheat's "Back On The Water" and tracks from JAMC 1985 classic
LP Psycocandy. Jim Reid has also been interviewed via the
Scotsman recently discussing the reformation of the Mary Chain, Freeheat
and Sister Vanilla. The
Sunday Herald has also confirmed the Jesus And Mary Chain have added
another festival date for August 31st at the inaugural Connect Festival
in the UK. Sister Vanilla and Checmikal Underground are set to release
"Little Pop Rock" on April 3rd. You can check out the interesting video

Following fellow label mate Linda Draper - The Voyces(well
four out of five of 'em) sat down and answered a cool Q&A with the hipsters

Voyces' guitarist Steve Dawson will make an appearance on NBC's Late
Night With Conan O'Brien" on Monday March 19th as part of critically
accalimed NYC artist Jesse Malin's band. For more info on Steve Dawson

The band is also finishing work on their first video "Kissing Like It's
Love" - but as soon as we could say "finish", they will be starting work on their
second promo clip - "You're In Charge Of Driving The Narcotics Trolley, And You're
Doing An Excellent Job" also from the upcoming album, "Kissing Like It's
Love". The video will star Shandi Sullivan from "America's Next Top Model" (Season
2). Filming is set to take place in Manhattan this April.

New York's Finest: Linda Draper "Keepsake" & The Voyces "Kissing Like It's Love"
Planting Seeds' long awaited pair of new releases are due to hit record
stores and fine music outlets worldwide on May 8, 2007. Linda Draper
appears with her LP "Keepsake" (PSRCD 048) while The Voyces make
their PSR debut LP with "Kissing Like It's Love" (PSRCD 049).
Linda Draper is back with her fifth LP (2nd full length for PSR) titled
"Keepsake" which she recorded and produced at NYC's Olive Juice Music studio
with co-producer Major Matt(Adam Green, Kimya Dawson, Jeffrey
Lewis). A preview single, "Traces Of" from the LP was released back
in the fall of 2006 with sparkeling reviews. Expect the same brilliance with her
10 track LP.

The Voyces bring their ultra catchy pop in the form of a fine 10
song CD. Their follow up to hit single "Relate To Me" and the already classic
"The Angels Of Fun." "Kissing Like It's Love" has been in the works for
sometime, with the title track also due out for single release via exclusive
digital download with three non LP b-sides (due out late Spring/early summer
2007). Primary songwriter Brian Wurschum initially recorded the majority
of the LP himself then rounded out the sound/recording sessions with the
bands current line-up. 2007 appears to be a busy one for the Voyces. They
are currently gathering live dates in support of the new LP and are finishing
up their very first video for the title track. More news is sure to be upcoming.
