Linda Draper On WFMU
Linda Draper officially got her "Keepsake" tour underway with a
great live in-studio performance on Monday, May 21st via influencial station
WFMU 91.1 FM - "Needlessly" started things
off and a newer track, "Among The Sharks And The Royalty" was also performed
- from the new LP: "Keepsake", "Shine", and "Cell Phone". Linda also managed
to guest DJ - spinning songs from fellow label mates Freeheat "The
Two of Us", along with Beau Johnson "Postcards For Your Friends"
and Julie Sokolow "Something About Violins". Take a listen here

appears in an all new interview via Norway's Eardrums Music, she discusses

The Voyces Going Home, Linda Draper updates LA Show
The
Voyces continue their "Kissing Like It's Love" (PSRCD-049)CD release
celebration with a sold out RSVP only performance on May 22nd in Thousand
Oaks, California. This will be an acoustic performance featuring Brian Wurchsum
and Jude Kastle. The band will be selling the CD at the show. If you're
a bit dissapointed the show is sold out, you can make a trek out to NYC
and join the band on Friday June 15th at the Mercury Lounge - it's bound
to be another sellout.
The Voyces are also featured in a TOYOTA COMMERCIAL - which is currently
airing throughout all of Canada. The Wurchsum penned song "Relate To Me"
appears in both radio and television advertisements for Toyota. The ad's
narrator is from the popular surfing film "Step Into Liquid." Meanwhile,
the LP has seen radio adds at various stations around the globe. Planting
Seeds' favorite German station Popscene with Jalal Radio Bremen has begun
spinning the ultra catchy "Kissing Like It's Love".
Linda Draper officially kicks off her "Keepsake" tour with a special
in-studio performance on New Jersey's highly influencial indie station WFMU
91.1 FM - She will be featured on Irene Trudel's show from 3PM-6PM on Monday
May 21st along with fellow NY singer/songwriters Carolyn Alroy and Jen Lindsey.
In more Linda Draper news, her Sunday June 10th show in Los Angeles has
had a few changes - due to scheduling conflicts, The Parson Red Heads
and Stevenson Ranch Davidians will not be appearing at the Tangier -
Dangerbird Records One AM Radio along with Mia Doi Todd will be headlining
along with fellow LA singer Hank May. She has also confirmed another
performance at NYC's The Cake Shop on June 22nd. Linda Draper will be on
tour thru June 2007.

The Voyces "Kissing Like It's Love" Promotional Clip And Release Party!
If you enjoyed your time at The Voyces CD listening party at Hi-FI
last night, then please stop on by the bands official cd release show on
Saturday May 12th at The Rockwood Music Hall - 10PM - pick up the critically
acclaimed "Kissing Like It's Love" CD. Want more Voyces news? Okay, for
the next several months, guitarist Steve Dawson will be on the road
with NYC artist Jesse Malin which includes stops on The Tonight
Show with Jay Leno (June 20) as well as The Late Late Show with Craig
Ferguson (June 21st - CBS-TV). The Voyces will be playing select shows
without Dawson with Brian Wurschum picking up lead guitar duties. Want to

Double Shot Tuesday - Linda Draper & The Voyces LP's Out Today!
After
months of waiting, NYC's Linda Draper and The Voyces are back
with their latest releases. Linda Draper releases her second LP with Planting
Seeds with the LP "Keepsake" (PSRCD-048) - her fifth LP overall - check
out the radio singles "Traces Of" and "Shine" with heavy rotation on various
indie/college stations worldwide. You've read previous quotes from the music
press - here's what Pop Matters is saying about Draper's latest:
"warm and personal...intimate, crisp...dreamy, angelic..."
The
Voyces are debuting on PSR with their much anticipated second album "Kissing
Like It's Love" (PSRCD-049). Along with their LP, the bands live shows have
been selling out with a tour of the west coast in the works. check out some

Linda Draper Out West & The Voyces Really Sell-Out
The
spring and summer months are here and along with it, NYC folk chanteuse
Linda Draper’s latest musical chapter blossoms with the release of her fifth
studio LP titled “Keepsake” – the excellent follow up to the Kramer (Low,
Galaxie 500, Dot Allison) produced 2005 LP “One Two Three Four”. Her latest
collection includes the singles “Traces Of” and “Shine” and is co-produced
by Linda Draper and Major Matt (Kimya Dawson, Jeffrey Lewis, and Adam Green,
etc). The LP is due out in stores worldwide on May 8th. Linda will be hitting
the road for a promotional west coast tour in June and will be joined by
bay area bassist Robert Woodcock. She'll have the chance to play with some
fabulous acts in Shelley Short (Hush Records), Lucy Wainwright Roche (sibling
of Marth & Rufus Wainwright), The Orange Peels (Parasol Records), Jeff Larson
(America, Jeffrey Foskett), The Parson Red Heads (Yukon Records) and The
Stevenson Ranch Davidians (Beyon Your Mind Records) - both from the ultra
cool Los Angeles underground folk-rock/psychedelic scene - exciting times.

Bowery Ballroom in NYC. They played tracks from their upcoming breakout
release "Kissing Like It's Love" along with songs from their folkrock based
