Art For Freeheat's Sake!

Freeheat continue to ride high off their latest release "Back On The Water" (PSRCD-045). Guitarist Ben Lurie is featured in Erasing Clouds' latest edition, #78 of 100 musicians answer the same 10 questions instigated by Dave Heaton (fellow PSR artist Linda Draper was featured as #68). Check out Ben's brief interview. Ben will also be interviewed in the latest issue(#59: Decemberist on the cover)of one indie music's best source -The Big takeover The issue is out now!

In more Freeheat news, the band will be featured in the ultra chic Art Forum Magazine. Ben Lurie's beautiful landscape photography of the Joshua Tree and band portraits will be on display complete with Lurie's captions. According to magazine sources, the December 2006 issue will hit newsstands late this month.

Linda Draper Live: Knitting Factory and Western Vinyl support

Linda Draper is set to debut at NYC's The Knitting Factory on November 25, 2006. The show will tie in with the release of Linda's latest single "Traces Of" which continues to get rave reviews. Showtime is 8PM. She will be joined by bay area bassist Robert Woodcock. Robert showcases his bass excellence throughout Draper's "Keepsake" LP. Linda Draper's fifth studio CD is due out Spring 2007.

In addition to the Knitting Factory appearance, she will be supporting Julie Sokolow and King Egg, both on Western Vinyl Records. The show will be on December 19, 2006 (Time still to be announced)at the Annex in NYC. OUT NOW: Linda Draper CDEP

Out today is NYC folk chanteuse Linda Draper's long awaited single "Traces Of" (PSRCD 047) The CDEP is now available via the Planting Seeds shop and amazon.com in a limited edition. It will also be available at emusic.com, i-tunes and the usual digital download sites. The EP features three non LP tracks - "Traces Of" has also been featured alongside music from Arab Strap, Fairport Convention, plus more on Germany's very cool OK RADIO BREMEN 92.50 FM/101.85 FM and the show "Popscene with Jalal," with more radio adds to follow. Linda's "Keepsake"(PSRCD 048) LP is due out Spring 2007.
