Nice Sounds December 2007

Christmas Time is once again days away. What better way than to gather some kind words from around the way. The latest Planting Seeds' releases continue to collect rave reviews. And as always our resident advisor Hermano or "Hermie" as we like to call him nowadays - provides us with more words to live by!

Here are the latest words from the music press about PSR:

Linda Draper "Keepsake"

"Keepsake is Linda's fifth and most intimate release…soft and unassuming voice…a sort of soothing Beth Orton tone…" - The Big Take Over (issue #61, Fall 2007)

The Tamborines "Sally O'Gannon" EP

"an impressive, grinding groove…lying groovy melodies atop crunchy revved-up rythms ala a beefed-up Galaxie 500 or The Dandy Warhols." - Pop Cultures Press (December 2007)

"embraces the early '90s UK shoegaze sound… sure winner…a later Jesus And Mary Chain record… look forward to finally hearing a full-length from them soon! - indie Pages (December 2007)

The Voyces "Kissing Like It's Love"

"Creamy melodies, gentle boy/girl harmonies…positively addictive…a haunting/soothing dichotomy…" - Pop Cultures Press (Fall 2007 Issue)

"One of the more enjoyable pop albums of 2007…conjure moments of 10CC meets Simon And Garfunkel set loose on Pink Floyd's equipment…" - The Big Take Over (Issue #61, Fall 2007)

Hermano Del Noche Gonzalez III

"The art of a relationship is all in the appreciation"

More Nice Sounds coming soon - hopefully we'll have a cool wrap up of a very busy and fun 2007...stay tuned and Merry Christmas everyone - enjoy!
