Virginia's 1888 has found what it needed to put the creative edge on their
new collective sound - reverberating hints of Let-It-Be-Beatles meets alt-country
psychedelics ala WILCO - in the studio and on stage. Lead vocalist and songwriter
Brad Rosenberg delivers most of the song structures to the group while encouraging
each performer to make each part their own. Lead-guitarist and vocalist
Daniel Driskell also co-writes material giving 1888 a broad span of technique
and flavor. Driskell has mastered the electric and lap steel guitar displaying
some of the finest lead work to date leaving the listener with jaws dropped.
Glenn Mungcals chiming guitar work creates a wonderful dynamic with Bobby
Rangel's insane drum style, which goes from slightly jazzy to extremely
straightforward on the flip of a dime.
