Gritty Kitty

Athens, GA quartet Gritty Kitty released the fabulous record "Where Did You Find Each Other?" in 2002. It was the long awaited full-length follow-up to 1997's "Mistaking Airplanes For Stars", released on infamous Kindercore Records. The band hasn't completely disappeared since that time, most recently making appearances on Japan's Contact Records among other projects. On their lone release on Planting Seeds Records, the band picked up where they left off - with even more boy/girl vocals filled with hooks galore, thumping drums, strummy guitars, and just an overall fun experience! If you're fans of some of their friends (The Mendoza Line, Masters Of The Hemisphere, and bits of Weezer), then you will truly enjoy the latest offering from Gritty Kitty. Check out the ever catchy track "He Hides" with its fuzzy pop appeal, the light jangle guitar strum of "Little Street," and the rock out drum beat of the opening track "Reprise"…It's okay to feel good!
