Jumprope
Boston's Jumprope began in 1995 - creating a sound that mixes the retro bossa-nova grooves with Beatlesque melodies. Schooled in the finer movements of jazz subtleties, their efforts are quite sincere. The band has released a variety of records. The debut 7" EP was releaed on Twee Kitten Records in 1996, followed by various compilation appearances and releases on labels in Japan to Spain. Their second LP "Suitcase and Umbrella" was released on Planting Seeds Records to critical fanfare worldwide.
