About

A.M. Vibe is a female-fronted rock band from San Diego. Their sound has been described as a blending of the post-punk aggression of Nirvana and the fuzz rock of The Stooges - with the sweet melodies o the Carpenters and the Pixies - Using their sometimes noisy, sometimes nice approach, they deliver simple, irresistible and intelligent songs.

This San Diego based trio includes vocalist/guitarist Lisah Nicholson, bassist Michael Porter, and drummer Mark Vernon. "Capricorno" (PSRCD-061) is the band's latest release and debut for Planting Seeds Records. The LP kicks into gear with the melodic beat of lead single "Superstar", which shimmers and shines with honey dipped vocals and smooth bass/drums interplay. The all-out-noise groove rocker "BMF" shakes and rattles in its two and half minutes of glory. "Open Road" and "V" showcases the bands perfect indiepop roots. A.M. Vibe also displays their fine blend of soft acoustic Introspective lyrics & brilliant instrumental builds that notably surfaces on "Simple Disaster" and "Black Dogs". "Capricorno" is 12 tracks in all that is sure to please the listener's ears with its exceptional variety of styles and timeless sounds.
